Gorgeous wedding vase by Olga Quezada. This delicate olla is as thin and as lightweight as can be. Olga and Humbero Ledezma, her husband, are one of the best potting couples in the village. They are featured in The Many Faces of Mata Ortiz.

Particularly attractive is the form of the handle and the modernistic spouts.

Olga Quezada makes the most elegant lightweight matrimonial ollas in the village of Mata Ortiz. Traditionally crafted in sienna red clay and in incredibly straight lines crisscrossing the surface. This 'Exquisite Jewel' measures a full 11 1/4 tall. A true masterpiece of fine ceramic art.
